Major sign Harry and Charles have already reunited

A small but telling detail in King Charles’ upcoming documentary has sparked speculation that the rift between the monarch and his youngest son may already be easing.
Prince Harry appears in his father’s new film, Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision, which premiered this week at Windsor Castle and highlights the King’s long-standing commitment to environmental protection.
Inside the King’s New Documentary
The documentary, set for worldwide release on Amazon Prime on February 6, focuses on the 77-year-old monarch’s vision for living in balance with nature. It also features Titanic star Kate Winslet, who is heard asking the King whether he worries “about the state of the world”.
“Of course. That’s been my main motivation for a long, long time, and you can see what’s happening. But I mean the underlying principles behind what I call Harmony, I think we need to follow, if we’re going to somehow ensure that this poor old planet can support so many,” Charles replied.
Toward the end of the film, the King delivers a reflective message about unity and reconnection.
“It all boils down to the fact that we are actually nature ourselves, we are a part of it, not apart from it, which is really how things are being presented for so long,” he said.
He added: “Maybe, by the time I shuffle off this mortal coil, there might be a little more awareness … of the need to bring things back together again.”

Prince Harry’s Unexpected Cameo
That sentiment was underscored by a brief appearance from Prince Harry, 41, who has been estranged from his father since the release of his memoir Spare, which cast the Royal Family in a critical light.
In the clip, Charles is seen teaching a young Harry how to fly fish in Scotland, recalling family holidays spent at Balmoral Castle. The inclusion of the moment has raised hopes that father and son may be quietly working through their differences, or at least moving toward reconciliation.
Limited Contact Since the Rift
Following the King’s cancer diagnosis in February 2024, Harry and Charles did meet briefly for less than an hour during an unplanned visit. However, any hopes of further contact were dampened when The Express reported that Charles would be in Scotland during Harry’s most recent trip to the UK, effectively ruling out another meeting.
Earlier this month, Harry also faced criticism after reports suggested he was “desperate” for the King to reunite with his grandchildren during an upcoming state visit to the United States.
Hopes of a US Reunion
It was claimed that the Duke of Sussex is hoping his father will travel to Montecito to spend time with Archie, six, and Lilibet, four, whom Charles has not seen since 2022.
During the US trip, King Charles is expected to visit Washington DC and meet President Donald Trump as part of events marking the 250th anniversary of American independence. Any visit to California would require an additional six-hour flight.
“Harry has made it clear that he would love his dad to come and visit him and the family,” a source told The Sun.
“He knows that they are strained, but he has mentioned several times a hope that his father can have a relationship with his grandchildren.”

Backlash and Criticism
The rumours prompted a sharp response from TV presenter Mark Dolan, who dismissed the idea of a Montecito visit as unrealistic.
“It shows just how deluded Prince Harry is if he thinks that Charles is going to interrupt a rather important global tour to the US … and make a trip to that [mansion in Montecito],” the TalkTV host told the Daily Express.
“He’s got another thing coming.”
Dolan went on to claim that Harry’s desire for a visit was less about his children and more about seeking personal validation from his father.
