Prince William’s comment about Kate Middleton on royal visit proved his ‘true feelings’ for her

During a recent royal engagement in North Wales, Prince William showed fans a glimpse of his affection and admiration for Catherine, the Princess of Wales. At 43, the Prince of Wales attended a series of events, including a visit to Colwyn Bay where he learned about the Marine Conservation Society’s work along the Welsh seafront.
Later, he joined a comedy workshop led by Welsh comedian Kiri Pritchard-McLean before heading to Mochdre to visit Youth Shedz, a community initiative providing support and safe spaces for young people facing challenges.
Recognizing Catherine’s Support

At Youth Shedz, William spoke with the organisation’s founder, Scott Jenkinson, and his wife Sian, who shared how her support helped Scott overcome addiction and homelessness. After hearing their story, William turned to Sian and said, “He has done well to turn his life around.”
Scott replied, “With my wife behind me. You know that.”
William smiled warmly and added, “This is it. Behind every average man there is an even better wife.” His comment, lighthearted yet heartfelt, drew attention to the partnership and mutual respect between him and Kate.
A Partnership in Parenting

The remark also reflects the couple’s approach to family life. During a recent trip to Brazil, William joked about his role in parenting: “I’m the taxi driver. Playdates, sports days, matches, play in the garden when I can.” He confirmed that he shares the school run with Catherine, acknowledging that while she probably does most of it, he takes care of a significant portion of the week. The couple reportedly ensure that one of them is always present for their children during school term, showing their commitment to hands-on parenting while balancing royal duties.
Through both words and actions, William’s comments offered a rare, genuine glimpse into the affection, teamwork, and shared responsibilities that define their relationship.
