Revealed: The major Andrew twist that made Fergie ‘burst into tears’

Sarah Ferguson is reportedly struggling deeply behind the scenes, with friends expressing fears that her eviction from Royal Lodge and dramatic loss of status have pushed her to an emotional breaking point.

Those close to Sarah Ferguson say they are increasingly worried about the former duchess after she admitted that her recent fall from grace has not been “good for my mental health,” according to reports.

The Duchess of York, who has been forced out of Royal Lodge alongside her ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, is said to be “crying several times a day” and feeling overwhelmed by anxiety about “what the future holds”.

Sources claim the 66-year-old has confided in friends that losing her royal titles and long-term accommodation has taken a serious toll on her emotional wellbeing.

Feeling shut out by the Royal Family

Fergie is also alleged to have told those close to her that King Charles and Prince William were “out for blood in every way”, as she finds herself increasingly isolated from the Royal Family.

“She’s on a knife edge and bursting out crying several times a day. She’s really not sure what the future holds,” a source close to the former Duchess of York told the Daily Mail.

Fergie and Andrew, who have lived rent-free at Royal Lodge since 2008, have reportedly been given until January 31 to vacate the Grade II listed property.

Removal vans have been spotted coming and going from the estate as the disgraced former couple prepare to part ways for the first time in almost 20 years.

Prince Andrew is expected to relocate to Marsh Farm on the Sandringham estate, but where Fergie will settle next remains unclear.

Strained relationships with their daughters

Adding to the strain, Princess Eugenie is reportedly distancing herself from her parents in light of the Jeffrey Epstein scandal and is said to be encouraging her sister, Princess Beatrice, to follow suit.

The sisters are reportedly “horrified” that their parents not only maintained ties with the convicted paedophile, but also included him in key family moments.

“They’re horrified that their mum and dad exposed them to such a dangerous criminal and even welcomed Epstein into their lives, inviting him to Beatrice’s 18th birthday when a warrant was out for his arrest,” a source told Woman’s Day.

“Eugenie has always been more cautious than Beatrice when it came to trusting new people, but dealing with a cascade of lies from their own mum and dad is devastating.”

Beatrice walks a careful line

While Eugenie, 35, is said to have taken a firm stance against her parents, Beatrice, 37, is reportedly “trying to walk the fine line of not cutting her father off and yet remaining close with the Royal Family”.

It is also claimed that Beatrice withdrew an offer to let Fergie rent a newly renovated granny flat on her Cotswolds estate, reportedly in an effort to protect her standing with the royals.

“Beatrice knows for the sake of her kids her future lies with the royals and it’s why she backed out of renting her mum their granny flat,” a source told the Daily Mail.

“She has to put her own reputation first and give their kids a respectable chance at life.”
