On July 13, Princess Kate and Prince William’s 10-year-old daughter joined the day out at the finals, stepping out with her parents and elder brother, Prince George, 11. It marked Princess Charlotte’s third year in a row taking in the tennis action at the iconic U.K. tournament.
The Princess of Wales, 43, and her daughter subtly coordinated their outfits in complementary shades. Kate wore a cerulean blue dress featuring a delicate ruffled bow on the left shoulder, echoing the navy piping detail on Princess Charlotte’s white dress.

Kate, known for braiding her daughter’s hair herself, added a blue ribbon to Charlotte’s braid, perfectly complementing her own outfit. Both mother and daughter let their long hair flow down their backs, nearly matching in length.
Prince William and Prince George also embraced the family’s color theme, both sporting blue suit jackets and matching ties for a sharp, coordinated look.

Princess Kate and Princess Charlotte are known to match their fashion at public events. At the Trooping the Colour parade celebrating King Charles’ official birthday in June, the royal mom and daughter twinned in teal ensembles.
Princess Kate (who is the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club and regularly awards trophies to Wimbledon winners) and Prince William are regulars at the tennis tournament, and in recent years, they’ve started to introduce their children to the sporty staple of their summer calendar.
Princess Charlotte joined her parents and big brother, Prince George, for her Wimbledon debut in 2023, sporting stylish sunglasses as she saw Carlos Alcaraz defeat Novak Djokovic in a thrilling match.

She made another appearance at Wimbledon last year for a girls’ day out with mom Princess Kate and aunt Pippa Middleton. The outing was a special occasion as it marked a rare outing for the Princess of Wales amid her cancer treatment, and Kate was greeted with a standing ovation as the trio made their way to their seats in the Royal Box at Centre Court.
During the emotional moment, Princess Charlotte beamed with pride at her mom, who waved with a smile.

Photographer Karwai Tang, who captured the sweet moment, told PEOPLE at the time: “When [Kate] usually comes in, she walks down the steps and into her seat. She doesn’t normally stand and wave. But she stood for a while and took it all in. For her to acknowledge it and take in the applause was special.”
Tang also captured another touching moment between the mother and daughter after Charlotte and Pippa came back to their seats after taking a break from the match.
“[Charlotte] skipped down the stairs and when she got back to her seat — she was laughing. She leaned over and must have told her mom what it was about and they were giggling together and having a good old laugh,” he said.
Tang added, “You can tell that all three of them were enjoying themselves — Charlotte is following the game like her mother. You can see their excitement.”

After the match, Princess Charlotte got to shake hands with Alcaraz, who came out on top for the second year in a row.
Princess Charlotte seems to be taking after her athletic parents. After previously sharing that she had a particular interest in gymnastics, Prince William recently revealed that his daughter is taking her abilities to the track. The Prince of Wales chatted with British Olympic gold medalist runner Keely Hodgkinson at a May investiture ceremony, where he revealed Charlotte is running the 400-meter race and doing hurdles.
