Meghan Markle Shares First Photos of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet on Netflix Set — and Their Matching Red Hair!

Meghan Markle is giving fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse of her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, visiting her Netflix series set.

On September 1, the Duchess of Sussex, 44, posted the first images of her kids on the set of With Love, Meghan, which premiered its second season on August 26.

Music and Family Moments on Set

“Filming season two of ‘With Love, Meghan’ was more fun than you can imagine. Part of how we kept the vibe alive? Music,” Meghan wrote in the caption of a photo montage, which included a playlist of her go-to songs during filming.

“Between set ups I would play a song from my phone, and today I wanted to share some of the favorites I kept on rotation! Add them to your playlist, press shuffle, and enjoy! Happy Labor Day weekend! Work hard, play hard,” she added.

The montage began with Meghan and chef José Andrés, one of her guests for season two, before transitioning to sweet shots of Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4, visiting their mother’s set.

Protecting Home Life

Meghan has previously shared with PEOPLE that she decided to film at a rental near her family’s Montecito home rather than at their actual house in order to “protect that safe haven.”

The first glimpse of Archie and Lilibet showed the siblings from behind, both with their father Prince Harry’s trademark red hair, sharing a pair of headphones while watching Meghan on a small monitor.

Another candid shot captured Lilibet twirling in a director’s chair with the family beagle at her feet, as Meghan’s friend and makeup artist Daniel Martin — who appears in both seasons — opened the door nearby.

Prince Harry also made an appearance, joining Meghan alongside Clare Smyth, their private wedding reception caterer, during the filming of Smyth’s season two episode.

The final family moment in the carousel showed Archie holding a director’s clapperboard, happily calling “cut.”

Meghan reflected on that scene, telling PEOPLE: “Archie did the [filming clapboard]! Sweet moments.”

Teaching Her Kids About Balance

The Duchess has spoken about the importance of her children seeing her at work. “They would also come with my husband and visit me on-set, and I loved that my children were able to watch me working and see the balance of that and understand what Mama does and is working to create and share,” she explained. “It was really special because up until then, they hadn’t seen me at work.”

Crew members recalled how Archie and Lilibet would run up to Meghan during filming, with one telling PEOPLE, “She was super attentive and doting on them. We would give them headphones so they could listen to audio.”

Looking back on those visits, Meghan added: “I hope that when they get old enough, they feel really proud that they were part of the beginning of this with me.”
